Letter from Nashville Rescue Mission
On behalf the growing population of homeless men, women and children of our community, I thank you for your financial support you have so graciously given to the Nashville Rescue Mission.
In the past you have partnered with us in meeting their spiritual and physical needs. That help is shown in statistics like these:
23,225 total decisions for Christ
185,363 total chapel attendance
88,149 pieces of clothing given out
242,372 nights of lodging provided
580,571 meals served (breakfast, lunch & supper)
2,325 enrolled in life recovery program
What I asking you to do is to consider becoming a financial supporter in 2009. I know in the midst of a recession it may be difficult to do so, but it is especially during these times that homeless grows and the need increases. Please pray about helping us minister to "the least of these" that Jesus spoke about.
I would love to hear from you. Please give me a call and I can arrange a tour or answer any questions you may have about the mission. God bless.

Sincerely,
Michael Davenport

Letter from East Cheatham Elemantary School
Thank you and your co-workers so much for sponsoring our "angels". Our students were so happy coming back from Christmas. It was such a a pleasure when the the children would come by and me their new clothing or tell me about their new toys. I wish that you all could have been here to see their faces. They were so excited about the Christmas presents that they received. Without your help, many of these children would not have received any Christmas presents. Their parents simply did not have the money to buy Christmas for their children.
I have a number of sponsors who have said that they received help when they were children and so they in turn want to help others. I think that is heart warming that these adults remember what it was like as a child to receive help and now want to give to others.
Thank you again, for your generous, caring for our students.
Signed
Tammy McCleaf
